In the past years, as part of our mission, we have participated in the following events:
2010
- From January until March, when the Health Care Reform Bill was passed, we participated in many media events — in print, television and radio — educating about what reform would mean to the Latino community: UNIVISION national and local new, Sabado Gigante con Don Francisco, El Nuevo Herald, Tele Sur, Tele Azateca, Linea Abierta of Radio Bilingue.
- We worked with the coalition, Latinos United for Healthcare, to improved the provisions in the healthcare bill that will benefit Latinos in the mainland and Puerto Rico.

In this installment of DCB'08, Ray Suárez moderates a discussion with a distinguished panel of guests. Dr. Jaime Torres of the Latinos for National Health Insurance feels the current state of affairs is a prescription for disaster and that we want a national healthcare plan that insures "every person in American."
